Thon Hotel Vika Atrium is centrally located in Oslo, just behind Aker Brygge. We are a vibrant hotel with 148 rooms and a conference capacity of up to 700 delegates daily.

After an extensive renovation in 2025, we now have a new reception area, hotel restaurant, staff restaurant, conference facilities, and 18 new rooms.

In addition to serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner for hotel guests, we also operate the staff restaurant for the building’s tenants, as part of a modern commercial property. We are also working on developing new F&B concepts that will be launched throughout the year.

About the Position

This is a full-time position primarily focused on breakfast service, but lunch and dinner shifts may occur depending on operational needs.
The position includes shift work with every other weekend. Week days the shift starts at 05:00 and 06:00 at weekends.
Start date: By agreement.

Qualifications

• Trained chef or extensive experience working as a chef

• Solid knowledge of food safety (IK-mat/HACCP)

• Understanding of sustainability and the importance of reducing food waste

• You speak English or Norwegian

• Comfortable and confident in guests' interactions.

• You hold a valid work permit in Norway

• Positive attitude and strong team spirit
